Bob and Dawn Gooderson took over the Half Moon Hotel in August 2015.
It had previously been run By Dave and Jill Dixon for the forty past years.
We are all here to make your visit you meal your drink or your function an enjoyable experience.
Bob and Dawn have extensive experience in the hotel and catering industry.
Some of our senior hotel staff have been at the Half Moon for many years so are well acquainted with the hotel and the local area.
We can arrange a substantial marquee on the extensive lawned region at the rear of the hotel for any large event.
The venue is suitable for weddings meetings and many other types of function.
We have a function room which will seat sixty guests at tables and up to eighty cinema style .
In the afternoon our tearoom is offering a choice of teas scones and cakes to really enjoy while you spend a relaxing hour with us.
On Sundays there is a carvery at lunchtime serving a variety of roast meats.
There are lots of tables at which we serve substantial enjoyable meals.
The lounge region drinks bar is open from 12 noon until late.
Our a la carte restaurant is offering a menu of delightful dishes served in comfy surroundings.One of our twins has en suite bathroom facilities for wheelchair users.
We are just a walking distance from the historic market town of Alford and Alford Town Centre.
If you would like to tour the region more Lincolnshire Coast has breathe taking beaches and exciting seaside attractions which guest of all ages can enjoy.
The rolling hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds is just closeby and easy to reach.This is the perfect stopover when visiting the area.
