Welcome to our gorgeous riverside holiday cottage in the grounds of Claythorpe Watermill and Wildfowl Gardens.
The cottage stands right on the riverside adjacent to the watermill with its fabulous on-site café and sleeps four comfortably in its two bedrooms.
The shower room has loo basin and a large (1.2m) built-in shower cubicle with electric shower.
Tranquil and most beautiful both guestrooms comprise goose feather and down duvets and pillows hotel-quality guest bed linen a flat screen television (with an integrated DVD player in bedroom two) DAB clock radios and full-size wardrobes.
Upstairs are two guestrooms and shower room.Bedroom one has a king-size double while bedroom two has twin 3-foot single beds.
The lounge region opens onto a lovely conservatory with seating for four while the kitchen region opens onto a small dining region with a table made from the reclaimed beams from the cottage.
The open plan lounge/kitchen includes reclaimed oak floor leather sofa digital television DVD player and fully equipped kitchen region with full-size refrigerator freezer dish washing machine and washer dryer double oven ceramic hob microwave oven kettle and toaster.
We hope we ve thought of everything.
The cottage stands right in the centre of the grounds but we ve worked hard to keep the cottage private from visitors to the attraction with front and rear gardens that maintain a comfy distance from day visitors.
The meerkat enclosure is right there (you can watch them from your bedroom windows) and it s a joy to sit with a glass of wine and watch the birds settle for the night as the sun goes down.
The private patio leads directly onto the wildfowl garden where ducks storks and exotic wild birds wander freely.
Outside of public opening hours you have this breathe taking visitor attraction to yourself (apart from owners Rebecca and Mike and their family who will do all they can to make you welcome).
The grounds of the mill are open to the general public from 10am to 5pm from March to October.
