The Castle Arms is an attractive congenial character inn set in the tranquil and picturesque North Yorkshire village of Snape handily located reasonably close to the A1 between Bedale and Masham the property is handily located for easy access to the many tourist attractions of both The Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors National Parks.
We have nine well appointed and comfy rooms in converted stables set around an attractive courtyard at the rear of the premises.
Not to mention the magnificent landscape on our doorstep perfect for walking or cycling.
Local attractions comprise Thorpe Perrow Arboretum the breweries of Masham Lightwater Valley and the cathedral city of Ripon.
Dogs are welcome in all our rooms (a small supplement of £10 per stay is charged) and in the drinks bar areas of the pub.
Food service times are 12-2.30pm for lunch and 6-8.30 (9pm Fri / Sat) for evening meals with the exception of Sunday when food is served from 12-3 (bar closed from 5pm).
Great home cooked food is served in our restaurant and drinks bar areas with a wide choice of cask ales fine wines and spirits on offer to accompany your meal or to really enjoy by themselves.
Central heating colour television and tea/coffee making facilities are standard.
Many architectural features of the original property have been retained to provide a conventional ambiance which contrasts most beautifully with the contemporary amenities.
The property features nine guestrooms all with en suite bathroom bath or shower rooms and furnished to an exceptional standard with co-ordinated decor and pine furnishings throughout.
The main public house is grade 2 listed and oozes character and charm with it s flagged flooring oak beams and roaring fire.
