Orkney Guest House is an 18th century townhouse located reasonably close to the shops and facilities of Berwick town centre and within a short walking distance of the Elizabethan Walls contructed in the last 16th century.The Maltings arts venue is close by and the shops bars and restaurants of Bridge Street.
The town has excellent public transport and rail links to Newcastle and Edinburgh.
Local produce is sued where possible.
Breakfast is served between 8 and 9 although can be provided earlier by arrangement.
Tea and coffee is provided TVs and complimentary internet access.
On the 1st floor there is a spacious double bedroom with adjoining bath/shower room.
This sleeps 3 but there is a fold- down guest bed which allows for an additional person.
We currently have 2 rooms for guests: a family guest suite on the top floor which consists of a double room and single bedroom with adjoining shower room.
Villages such as Etal and Ford are worth a visit as are Paxton House and the Chain Bridge Honey Farm.
The Cheviots and landscape of North Northumberland and within very easy reach by car or bus.
