Julie Steve and Toby the jack Russell would like to welcome you to Melbourne Place.
Our three storey house is located in the old Weardale village of Wolsingham often referred to as the Gateway to the Dales .
As we have our own dog we do not accept pets.
There is a large choice of books around the house which you are welcome to browse through during your visit with us.
Our duvets and pillows are all anti-allergenic.
Our guest beds linen and towels are of a high high quality to help to make your visit as luxurious as possible.
To help make your visit comfy and homely we always provide slippers for those guests who would like them and there is also a choice of complimentary toiletries.
They are both equipped with internet wifi Satellite television Hair-dryer complimentary teas and coffee.
We offer two super luxury en suite bathroom rooms which are located on the second floor of the house and are accessed via their own private staircases at either end of the first floor landing.
We hope that you will come to visit and really enjoy a home away from home experience with us.
On the ground floor there is a comfy lounge region with wood burning stove for those cold winter evenings accessed from here is our dining region described by one of our guests as being a little hidden gem it had a feel of Andalucía in the heart of the north east landscape For Alfresco dining or just watching the slow pace of life there is a south facing walled patio with a cottage garden feel with its planted borders and plentiful pots of highly scented flowers and shrubs.
Melbourne Place is offering two spacious en suite bathroom rooms on the 2nd floor each accessed by their own private staircase leading from the 1st floor landing.
Wolsingham and its surrounding areas have much to offer all year round.
