The Alumhurst is an Award Winning town centre family managed 2 Star Visit England Hotel.
We have been established for 41 years in 2012 and to celebrate we have upgraded some rooms and refurbished the ground floor.
Come and join the people who really enjoy the Alumhurst every year content in the knowledge that you have a secure comfy clean place to stay and you will be staying on the road becoming famous for its own Illuminations and garden atmosphere.
We do not accommodate all male groups and welcome well behaved Hen Parties.
Discounts offered to Seniors in June and August and coach parties get discount and a complimentary place on 30 guests or more.
We have limited complimentary parking outside that can be reserved if available.
We welcome children in the drinks bar and there are some games for them.
Our comfy drinks bar is open every evening and stocks a wide range of drinks plus a pool table music centre dart board quiz machine and one armed bandit.
Our chef takes pleasure in offering you nourishing well cooked breakfasts and evening meals in our newly refurbished dining room using local produce where possible and coping with exceptional dietary requirements is no problem to him.
We still have a few smoking permitted rooms in one separate wing.
We also have a small lift that takes the hard work out of getting yourself and your luggage to your bedroom.
Some Premier rooms have Kingsize guest beds and 2 have Super Kingsize beds.
All rooms are en suite bathroom with private shower rooms Flat Screen television s with full FreeView and integral DVD players Tea and Coffee facilities comfy beds.
