The Coach and Horses is a 400 year old coaching inn nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds on the outskirts of picturesque Bourton-on-the-Water. Located on the A429 reasonably close to the Oxfordshire boarder it is in the ideal location to tour some of the most quaint and conventional villages town and cities in the country. Please note although we offer all guests complimentary internet wifi it does not always reach all the B&B rooms so may only be available in the drinks bar region during your stay. There is a large carpark with spaces handily outside the rooms. Check-in is from 2pm and check out is 10am. Included in the price of the guest rooms is a perfectly cooked breakfast cereals juice and tea s and coffee are offered for breakfast between 8:30am and 9:30am. The public house is open 12 noon and serves food throughout the day. Across the carpark from the guest rooms is the public house and restaurant which serves conventional English cuisine with a contemporary twist and a variety of drinks comprising real ale larger cider and a good range of wine hot drinks and soft drinks. All rooms are en-suit with bath and powerful showers as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Upstairs there is two large family guestrooms with exposed beams king sized guest beds and sofa beds. We have 5 rooms all together with disabled access to the ground floor twin and two doubles. Our B&B rooms are set back off the road in the old converted coaching house separate from the public house and restaurant. Just a short distance is a footpath to most beautiful Upper and Lower Slaughter where you are able to stop for cream teas and visit the old mill. There are many marked footpaths throughout the Cotswolds within very easy reach ranging from light strolls across poppy fields and equestrian centre land to long distance stamina walks such as the Cotswold Way National Trail for more seasoned walkers. Just 40 minutes away Regency town Cheltenham birth place of Shakespeare Stratford-upon-Avon 10 minutes away Stow-on-the-Wold and one and a half hours from most beautiful Bath.
