Craigholme is a new venture for Jackie and Steve Barton.Having had ten years experience at Ravenscroft which was an multi award winning guest bed and breakfast in Windermere they have now recently opened Craigholme (please have a look at Ravenscroft on TripAdvisor).
The whole house has been refurbished into a peaceful haven of softly muted colours with gently toning fabrics all from Laura Ashley.
Sadly we do not have any parking facilities.Parking is available on the road outside the property.
Vegeterians are happily catered for and any exceptional requirements but a bit of notice is appreciated.
The rooms all recently renovated are stylish and restful.The guest beds are comfy and the bedding is lovely and cosy using feather and duck down duvets and pillows..a struggle to get out of in the morning !!! Breakfast is served in the Dining Room offering a choice of Full English Breakfast or something lighter such as Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Egg or Pancakes with Greek Yoghurt Fruit and Honey.
There are many bars and restaurants closeby and Jackie and Steve are only too happy to advise you where to go to really enjoy yourselves.
The property is located a couple of minutes to walk from the top of Bowness.Lake Windermere is a five minute to walk away where you are able to find activities to keep yourself busy throughout the day or just take in the scenery.
Without being intrusive their wish is that people leave refreshed and relaxed after their stay.
