Welcome to The Westmorland Inn We are a conventional Lakeland Inn and we are ideally located in between Windermere and Bowness village with only a few minutes to walk to either and less than 5 minutes to walk to Lake Windermere.
We are pleased to offer 8 ensuite guestrooms all individually designed with two of these large enough to accommodate a family of three.
We are excellently placed for all the facilities and attractions that the Lake District national park has to offer and in fact we are actually within a short walking distance to many of them.
We also have a mezzanine level over looking the dining room with comfortable settees and chairs to really enjoy a drink either before and after your meal or just to relax at anytime.
We have a recently renovated dining room on the ground floor offering a conventional public house menu with teatime exceptional menus weekdays lunchtime 2 for £12 and a Sunday carvery served all day on a Sunday from 12 till 8pm We serve lunchtime and evenings Mon-Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday and breakfasts at a weekend and holiday time.
In our cosy comfy drinks bar we have 5 real ales premium lagers wines spirits an excellent choice of Gins and a good choice of cocktails we have a good local option of drinks comprising some real ales from Jennings brewery a choice of spirits from the Lakes Distillery comprising Whisky Gin and Vodka and a local Kendal mint cake liqueur.
For those exceptional occasions through prior arrangement we are happy to provide a chilled bottle of prosecco with super luxury chocolates or a bottle of champagne in your room for your arrival at an additional cost.
We only use super luxury toiletries in all our rooms and tea and coffee making facilities with complimentary Kendal Mint Cake and bottles of water for you to enjoy.
Some of our rooms offer a view of Lake Windermere and across to the fells and mountains.
