We endeavor to provide a warm and inviting ambience in which our customers can comfortably really enjoy their stay with us.
We do not have a 24 hour concierge and last check in is at 22.30.
There is also a closeby Railway Stn in Marks Tey with a direct line to London.
There is a public transport stop directly outside of the public house with regular buses that can take you to Colchester or Chelmsford.
We are situated reasonably close to the historic town of Colchester where you are able to visit the famous castle we also are near to the excellent Colchester zoo.

We serve a home cooked meals Monday - Saturday.
During the cold winter months our open fire is always an irresistible magnet.
