The Kicking Dickey is a warm and congenial public house a home from home for its regulars and visitors alike.
Situated on the edge of the charming town of Dunmow it is approximately 8 miles from Stansted Airport 13 miles from Chelmsford and 9 miles from Braintree Essex.
There is plenty of parking available at the front of the building.
To the side and rear of the public house we have a beer garden with a feature well which provides the ideal place to catch the sun or a bit of shade.
We host quiz nights bingo evenings discos karaoke and family fun days throughout the year.
We serve conventional public house favourites such as fish and chips steaks burgers and chilli con carne.
Our kitchen region is open at the following times: Lunch Dinner Monday kitchen region Closed kitchen region Closed (open 12-4pm on bank holidays) Tuesday kitchen region Closed 6-8pm Weds 12-2.30pm 6-8.30pm Thurs 12-2.30pm 6-8.30pm Friday 12-2.30pm 6-8.30pm Sat 12-2.30pm 6-8.30pm Sunday 12-5pm kitchen region Closed During September -May we serve a Sunday carvery in warmer months normal menu is available.In very good weather we will have a BBQ with a salad bar.
Any arrivals outside of these times may not be able to gain access.
Our check in times are between 2pm and 10pm if these hours are not suitable please contact us in ahead of time and we will do our very best to accommodate your needs.
Free internet wifi is available in the drinks bar region provided by The Cloud unfortunately it is not available in the rooms.
