Friendly and relaxed The Swan is an historic country inn in the village of Fittleworth in the South Downs National Park.
The drinks bar and restaurant are very best loved meeting places for locals and visitors alike who really enjoy roaring fires in winter and our hidden garden in warmer months.
Our menus change with the seasons and we work closely with our butcher game dealers farmers greengrocers and fishmongers to source high quality produce from the surrounding areas.
Dogs are welcome to stay in the cottage rooms for an additional £15 per night.
A continental breakfast is included and you can upgrade to a perfectly cooked breakfast on arrival.
All rooms offer tea and coffee making facilities.
Many rooms retain original architectural features and are decorated in a conventional style.
The Swan has 12 en suite bathroom rooms situated in the main property and four cottage rooms in the old stable block.
Today it is a family-run public house offering fine food and drink in a relaxing atmosphere.
The Swan dates back to the late 14th century and has been inviting guests from all walks of life ever since.
