Nestled in the heart of the Hambleden Valley in a designated region of Outstanding Natural Beauty the Frog is centrally situated in the village of Skirmett.
An 18th Century coaching inn The Frog enjoys an enviable location surrounded by the rolling hills of the Chilterns meadows and masses of wildlife.
Access is NOT available between these times.
WE ARE CLOSED BETWEEN 3PM AND 6PM DAILY.
The Frog is very quietly located and a good nights sleep is assured.
Each room has a TV and views of the valley.
We have three rooms available at the Frog all of which have en suite bathroom facilities (please be aware one of our room has a bathtub with no shower facility) and all of which comprise the fantastic Frog breakfast .
Accommodation.
There s a well-stocked drinks bar congenial drinks bar hotel staff and importantly because the Frog is a complimentary house varying specials of beer wine and spirits are also on offer.
Entering the Frog through the main door one is immediately greeted by a large roaring fire (throughout the winter months) which is surrounded by leather and oak seating.
The public drinks bar is the heart of the Frog.
We have a lovely flower filled child-friendly garden with far reaching views across the valley which is ideal in the summer months.
