Welcome to Bramble Corner guest bed and Breakfast here in the Cambridgeshire village of Bluntisham on the edge of the Fens This Victorian villa was originally contructed in 1880 and has been added to over the years to now offer four letting rooms two doubles and a single with en-suites and a twin room with en suite bathroom on the ground floor.
Kay and Martin have been the owners of Bramble Corner for nearly ten years and have been rated as 4 star accommodation by Visit England that has helped us go from 18% booking level in year one to 68% currently.
Take a trip into Cambridge on the World s longest guided busway and leave your car at the park and ride for just £1 We respectfully ask guests not to arrive before 4.00pm unless by prior arrangement giving us ample time to ensure your room is as it should be We look foward to seeing you soon Warm regards Martin and Kay.
Cambridge itself with its connection with the famous University is a must to look around and the open top public transport explore is an absolute must.
Further afield there are many ancient monuments stately homes wildlife parks and a host of other things to visit.
All supplies or ingredients are locally sourced with provenance Location wise we are well placed for the historical riverside town of St.Ives about 2.5 miles West and Cambridge Peterborough Ely and the main roads (A14 M11 A1(M) etc.) Apart from the recently opened section of the RSPB Wetland Trust region within a three mile radius there is golf (at the newly situated St.Ives Golf Club) sailing walking (the Ouse Valley Way) fishing canoeing river boat hire and local sports centre for swimming etc.
The property with its large carpark sits in about a third of an acre of land comprising a Victoria plum orchard.
