The Sportsmans Inn is a conventional olde worlde public house with the added bonus of a 14 bedroom hotel.
Here we take pride in the values of a bygone age where service and personal touches were what made the public houses of England great! Whether it be just a drink from our extensively provisioned drinks bar a light snack from our drinks bar menu or an a la carte meal we try to cater for all your needs.
we were the first hostelry in Ivybridge to become disabled congenial with the mayor cutting the ribbon of the disabled toilet!!.
Disabled access and disabled toilets are a feature of The Sportsmans.
We are quite sure if you join us for a drink or social event you will find a warm welcome.
Bill and Doh Hibbert the landlord and landlady are entering their 30th year here at The Sportsmans so we are pleased to be celebrating that with plenty of events going on throughout the year .

Parking is complimentary to residents and we are only a 15 minute drive into Plymouth town centre.
En- guest suite bath or shower rooms (except the economy room that has a en suite bathroom just outside the room) full English breakfast is included in our prices.
All have complimentary tea and coffee and local spring water.
Our rooms are available all year round they range from twin rooms doubles family and of course our 4 poster.
Look out for exceptional barbecue events.
Why not try one of our local real ales with a delicious lunch or one of our famous sandwiches.
In the warmer weather our large beer garden is available for a quick snack or a glass of wine.
We also have a screen and a flip chart holder for your use coupled with complimentary WI-FI.
