The Bungalows are located on the lower slopes of the Blencathra mountain range and offer unobstructed views over the quiet village of Threlkeld towards St.
We have a reputation for good service and good accommodation.
We hope that we can be of service to you when you visit this most beautiful corner of the United Kingdom We are a local family who have been looking after guests from all over the world since the early 1970 s.
For the more adventurous Edinburgh is a 2 to 3 hour drive through the Borders We are open all year round for room onlly and Self catering and we are justifiably proud of our international reputation for service and northern hospitality.
A few miles to the north is the Border City of Carlisle Hadrians Wall and Gretna Green the romantic gateway to Scotland .
Also to the east we have the most beautiful Eden Valley with it s picturesque villages and the Pennines.
Though we are located in the Northern English Lakes District we are only 14 miles from J40 M6 and within very easy reach of all the lakes and tourist areas like Windermere Ullswater and Keswick.
It is an perfect centre for walking touring or just relaxing and enjoying the scenery.
Pony trekking and fishing are nearby.
Threlkeld village has two inns both serving food a golf course.
The view to the west looks towards the fells around Derwentwater and Keswick and beyond.
Johns in the Vale and the northern end of the Helvellyn range.
