With parts dating back to the 13th century this 16th century inn is now a small country public house offering complimentary internet wifi 2 bars a separate restaurant and comfy accommodation.
Just come and really enjoy the quite life that makes this part of Norfolk so exceptional it may take a while to get here as we don t have motorways but its well worth it once you arrive.
There is always plenty to do in the surrounding region with Sandringham Estate Holkham Estate and several National trust properties close by.
Our restaurant serves conventional home cooked food.
We do ask that our canine guests do not sleep on the guest beds muddy footprints can be a problem.
Upstairs some of the doorways are quite low so for the tall be aware! The Crown Inn is dog congenial well-behaved pet dogs are welcome in the guest rooms and throughout the public house apart from in the restaurant.
There are low original wooden beams in a few places.
Rich in original character and conventional charm parts of the property are said to date back to between 1216 and 1262 when the property was constructed to house the stonemason and the workers who contructed the church opposite.
There is a garage/ post office/village store where daily papers can be purchase there is also a village butchers shop that has an excellent deli section if you fancy a picnic on a day out at the beach.
