All our guest rooms are on the ground floor a single and double/twin situated in the Farmhouse and six double/twin rooms in the Barn have French doors opening on to a west-facing terrace.
The rooms have views over the open fields where sheep and lambs graze in the spring and summer months and our little family of Guinea Fowl forage for seeds and insects.
Plenty of local activities comprising a superb golfing course at Kirkbymoorside (preferential rate available) as well as other championship courses nearby.
Kirkbymoorside itself while still a working place retains a charming ambience of times gone by with its partially cobbled main street its many interesting buildings and a lovely medieval church.
Just three miles away the sizeable Ryedale Folk Museum is situated in Hutton-le-Hole with its cluster of buildings giving an insight into the crafts and trades from past times.
Situated between Thirsk and Scarborough Kirkbymoorside is a pleasant town and a good base for discovering the North York Moors National Park Yorkshire coast and the surrounding area.
There is ample parking directly outside the guest rooms which makes the accommodation easily available for the less able guest.
You can sit outside on the terrace and really enjoy a cup of tea in the afternoon sunshine or indeed a glass of wine in the warm summer evenings.
