Hotel Details
Built by the Duke of Bedford in 1871 and today we are still maintaining the tradition of Cornish Hospitality. Let us look after you here at Wheatley Farm and experience guest bed and breakfast accommodation at its best. We now run the farm as a dairy unit and we milk our herd of Holstein Friesian cows every day at five in the morning and four in the afternoon even on Christmas Day!. Many changes have taken place in the farming scene in that time from horse to tractor to today s computer controlled feeding systems. Our family have farmed at Wheatley since 1890 and our son Andrew will be the fifth generation. The farmhouse and farm buildings were contructed by him in 1871. Wheatley Farm was once part of the estate owned by the Duke of Bedford. Today at Wheatley Farm. We look forward to inviting you to Wheatley Farm. We extend a very warm welcome and offer high levels of service to everyone which is probably one of the reasons so many of our guests come back time and time again. If you choose to stay in the Farmhouse you can look forward to enjoying the delights of home cooked food and personal attention.
