This former abattoir and butchers is the oldest timber-framed property in Lutterworth a historic thatched roof property dating back to the 16th century it was a first used as a pub in 1791 until 1840 it was then converted back to a home and butchers shop. In 1982 it was converted back into a pub and named the Shambles. The Shambles is now run by Denise and George East who took over in 2008 and have upgraded the accommodation so all guest rooms now have en suite bathroom showers with flat screen freeview televisions as well coffee and tea making facilities. All our food is source locally where possible. The are specials on the menu and these change daily as well as offering a wide range of seasonal options throughout the year. Breakfast served at the weekends from 8.30am. The shambles has a 30 cover restaurant serving conventional home cooked food a separate children s menu is available. Conveniently situated for the M1 and within very easy reach of Magna Park.
