.Welcome to The Royal Oak.
Our historic oak-beamed Inn is located in the most beautiful Royal Forest of Dean between the Severn and Wye rivers.
If you intended to return to your room after midnight a re-fundable deposit of £10 will be required for your key.
Please note that check-in is available between 2.00pm and 9.00pm unless prior arrangements have been made direct with us.
A put-you-up guest bed is available in some of the guest rooms on request.
All have tea/coffee making facilities.
We have five lovely guest bed and Breakfast rooms three which are double-bedded rooms with either en suite bathroom bath or shower and a further double-bedded room and twin-bedded room which share a bathroom.
Our Sunday Roast Lunch is well known as are our regular Steak Nights (Thursday) and Curry Nights (Friday).
Our restaurant is open daily between 12noon-3.00pm and 6.00pm-9.00pm serving a wide range of fare using fresh locally sourced produce.
Popular with ramblers dog owners fishermen race-goers and equestrians we also have several challenging golf courses within a twenty mile radius comprising Celtic Manor Resort the venue for the 201O Ryder Cup.
