Welcome to Wayside Guest Accommodation and Whisky Barn.
Wayside Farm was contructed in approximately 1637 on the west coast of the Lake District Cumbria.
They are also welcome in the drinks bar area.
There is a heated shed availble complete with large dog crates so your pet dogs can have a holiday too.
The hotel has secure storage perfect for bikes canoes and other equipment along with washing and drying facilities.
If you really enjoy the outdoor life and walking then Black Combe is situated directly behind the hotel with easy access.
All four guestrooms are decorated individually have good high quality furnishings and are all ensuite.
The accommodation has been carefully and tastefully refurbished from a disused derelict barn and has kept many of its original features.
In summer we have an outdoor region with picnic benches where you are able to really enjoy the views of Black Combe and totally relax.
We are an perfect place to stay overnight with secure parking and after an exciting day out why not relax with a cold glass of beer or a pint of cold draught Peroni good food or a warming single malt whisky if you try one and really like it you could purchase a bottle from our whisky barn to take home with you.
It is the ideal location for a relaxing weekend away or for the more adventurous we always provide an excellent base for walking biking ocean kayaking wind surfing kite surfing we have fantastic horse riding or if you are touring around the south west coast on motorbikes.
