We are small family ran guest house with 6 en suite bathroom guestrooms and a self catering holiday cottage we ve got just under 10 acres of land in total and Inc.
2 acres of gardens and we are all on hand to make our guests feel welcome and have a chat.
------------------------------------------ Children As parents ourselves we know the importance of family holidays as a time to bond and also how easily.
If you could keep an eye out for that please as we cannot be seen from the road and we only have a small B&B sign up as we do not take guests without a prior booking and are not open to non-residents.
------------------------------------------ How To Find Us We send you a email the day before your arrival with detailed driving instructions and also a list of closeby restaurants public houses etc.
we do not accept cash or cheques.

you may also pay by bank transfer again please tell us and we will email you our bank details.
We process your payment within our booking software with the card you booked with if you wish to use a different card this needs to be accomplished before hand and we require an online Authorisation Form filling out please tell us and we ll email you a link to the online form to change cards we cannot do this manually in house.
Payment is always taken from the card you booked with.
Flexible Rates: We ask for the balance to be paid on your arrival day.
Advance Payment/Saver Rate: We aim to process your payment within 48 hours (more often within a few minutes we just manually check them before our software makes the charge) of your booking once we have processed the payment we will email you confirmation.
When booking you will have choose to pay how to pay depending on what you have asked us to do please see below.

Also as we don t sell alcohol or serve food (expect breakfast) you are welcome to bring your own a lot of guests really enjoy having a bbq in the gardens (weather permitting) with a bottle of wine.
A quick example we do not sell tea and coffee as well as having tea/coffee facilities in your room we have a drinks station by our lounges that you can make a hot drink and a biscuit for complimentary to really enjoy in the garden or lounge region where in a hotel you would likely be charged for this and have it brought to you on a tray.
By contrast hotels are operating around the clock employing full time hotel staff with dedicated roles and functions and are by their nature not as personal on the whole and normally have services such as bars restaurants night porters etc.
In the UK B&B s and Guest houses are mainly family businesses not employing permanent hotel staff and not offering a reception desk or a concierge.
As a guest house our aim is to provide you with personal spotless accommodation a first rate wholesome breakfast and a inviting smile we get to know our guests on a first name basis and we will go out of our way as a matter of course to help you really enjoy your holiday break we are never far away and always happy to help or have an perfect chat.

We don t go in for trying to sell you things or upgrades or trying to get ever last penny out of ever guest in fact the only thing we sell is bags of charcoal for the BBQ.
By sharing our home we aim to give you a real home away from home feel both my wife and I absolutely love meeting new people and the guest house has turned into a real passion.
