Welcome to The Langbury the award winning Edwardian home of Nigel and Paula Smythe.
Originally contructed as a gentleman s residence it stands in its own grounds set in an elevated position in the small coastal village of Blue Anchor.
We provide excellent off road private parking and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Our outdoor guest swimming pool and sunbathing region provides an perfect space to relax during the summer months whilst our well tended gardens can be enjoyed all year round.
Beyond this is open moorland that has thousands of acres of some of the most most beautiful un-populated scenery in England.
The ancient harbour town of Watchet is three miles to the East the conventional seaside resort of Minehead is five miles to the west.
We are approximately half a mile outside of the Exmoor National Park and three miles from the medieval village of Dunster with its fairy-tale National Trust Castle.
The Langbury is 100 metres from the beach and Blue Anchor Station where you are able to board a steam train on the West Somerset Railway - the longest preserved railway in the country.
Accommodation is provided in five individually furnished rooms which all really enjoy breathe taking views of the ocean and the hills of glorious Exmoor and the Quantocks which are a feast for the eyes at any time of year.
