The Old Church House Inn dates from the 13th Century.
Our inn has a number of unique features comprising one of England s oldest bread ovens panelling retrieved from a ship of the Spanish Armada and 3 large log fires for cosy winter evenings.

Evening meals are available to hotel guests on Mon and Tues from 6.30-8.30pm.
Restaurant: Lunch: Thurs-Sun 12pm-2pm dinner:Weds-Sun 6-9pm (from 7pm on Sun).
Please note: pets are not permitted in our hotel rooms Our opening hours are: bar: 2pm-10.30pm Mon-Wed 12pm-10.30pm Thurs-Sun.
There is complimentary on site parking We can provide cots for babies- please tell us in advance.
We are a few miles from Newton Abbot and Totnes both of which have a range of shopping and dining facilities.
Despite the unique nature of our property and location we are within very easy reach of Dartmoor south coast resorts and Exeter.
We serve a variety of local ales as well as wines and spirits.
Breakfasts are included in the room rate and consist of generous cooked options along with cereal fresh fruit and yoghurt The hotel also houses the village public house which is popular with village residents and guests.
There is a lawned garden region for al fresco dining and drinking.
We have an excellent restaurant serving local seasonal food at lunchtime and in the evening our meat and fish are locally sourced all our meat and eggs are complimentary range.
One of our rooms is equipped for less mobile guests.
