In January 2014 The White Lion Inn underwent a total renovation to the exterior and interior property providing a rustic and cosy ambience in most beautiful surroundings.
At The White Lion Inn we have eight centrally heated en suite bathroom rooms comprising of five doubles one twin one family room and one single all decorated and furnished to a high standard with double glazed windows.
The public transport stops right outside the public house if you don t want to drive and Rutland Water Nature Reserve and sailing lake is only 15 minutes away the pub.
We have a village shop and travelling to Oakham and Melton Mowbray Towns takes about 15 minutes.
Eight en suite bathroom rooms parking and bicycle facilities dog walking areas and a five minute to walk takes you to an excellent park for younger children.
Our facilities included a function room with dance floor available for private hire available toilets drinks bar and comfy seating areas restaurant and outside facilities.
Chris is also available for bookings holding the British Close- up Championship Award 2012.
Chris entertains locals and diners alike with his wit and close-up Magic making the evening that bit more special.
We also boast a resident Magician.
Dogs are welcome in the drinks bar and garden areas.
In warmer weather you can really enjoy a drink or meal in our country garden which sits next to the brook or on our new patio region to the front.
We have a delicious choice of fine wines from all over the world to compliment our conventional ales and ciders.
Special dietary requests can be catered for with prior notice.
Our dishes are all made from locally sourced ingredients whenever possible and we have several vegetarian options available.
