Two of our contemporary deluxe rooms Bastion and Foundry are quietly tucked away in one of the 21 bastions within the 13th century 2 mile long city wall.
Out of hours check in is managed by Turl Street kitchen region where you will be served a delicious breakfast - TSK has a well deserved reputation for locally sourced seasonal menus and the ambience is so chilled.
All our rooms have flat screen TVs tea and coffee etc and complimentary wifi.
All three have a washbasin in the room and standard double guest beds and are decorated in a combination of painted and period furniture.
For guests seeking a friendlier price range we have three lovely small double rooms - Pink Blue and Little Blue.
All three have contemporary bathrooms with shower washbasin and WC.
The Jade and Red rooms both with kingsize guest beds face onto Ship Street and although they are usually quiet occasional reports of enthusiastic late night revelry have reached us so if you have a preferance something quieter the Yellow room with a standard double guest bed may appeal.
Our guestrooms are tasteful and contemporary and you can choose from 3 double ensuite rooms or small doubles with a shared WC and shower room.
We are rather fond of our narrow stairs wobbly walls and slightly uneven flooring but we appreciate for the taller of our guests 16th century architecture may be a challenge as our ceilings are pretty low.
If your taste is for something more contemporary we have 6 stylish rooms in our 3 storey 16th century town house on Ship Street.
Spacious rooms with kingsize guest beds both have lovely contemporary bathrooms - the Foundry on the ground floor has a large walk in shower and the Bastion up a small narrow staircase has a generous rolltop bath with a handheld shower.
