The Overstream is situated in the heart of Porlock and is ideally located for all local activities comprising Exmoor National Park and the breathe taking coastline.
The Overstream has seven ensuite letting rooms all guest rooms have shower ensuites have tea and coffee making facilities a hairdryer and a TV.
We are not able to accept pets.
The Overstream is licensed and guests can relax in the lounge region with daily papers in front of a log fire or in the garden.
We have a large carpark and a lift to all floors.
We have a wide range of maps and detailed walking maps available.
There are 600 miles of rights of way over footpaths and bridleways and many thousand of acres of open moorland on which public access is permitted.
It consists of some of the most breath taking and unsurpassed scenery in the country with a superb mixture of dramatic coastline rolling moorland and most beautiful secluded combes.
Porlock is within Exmoor one of the smallest National Parks (265 square miles).
There is an excellent range of shops restaurants and inns catering for everyone s needs.
The village retains much of its olde worlde charm and character and thatched cottages with tall chimneys (a feature of West Somerset) can be seen in the winding high street.
Porlock lies at the foot of the infamous 1 in 4 Porlock Hill and is approximately one mile from the sea.
