Durlock Lodge is an 18th Century lodge which is offering guest house accommodation and a self catering studio in the tranquil Kent countryside.
Guest accommodation in the lodge includes a complimentary continental breakfast.
Broadstairs also has great beaches and Bleak House where Dicken s wrote his famous novel of the same name.
Highly recommended is The Corner House Restaurant and drinks bar ( thecornerhouseminster.co.uk) a personal very best loved as our son owns it and just 3 minutes to walk away! There are a range of diverse attractions and activities for good weather or bad comprising the Turner Contemporary and Dreamland in Margate plus great beaches and exciting tunnels to tour in Ramsgate .
There is a train stn within five minutes to walk that will take you to Canterbury in 15 minutes or just under two hours to London.There is a good option of restaurants and public houses in the village within a 10 minute to walk .
Durlock is surrounded by farmland with a range of country walks and cycle routes.
The quiet village of Minster is situated within 6 miles of Broadstairs with its harbour and beach Sandwich (Cinque Port and Pfizers Discovery Park) and Ramsgate (marina and beach).
Unfortunately pets are not allowed in the lodge.
Pets are only allowed in the self catering studio.
