Now under new management the Turf Hotel is a congenial family managed local hotel based in the heart of Richmond North Yorkshire.
With the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Coast to Coast walks all on our doorstep we are able to offer comfy home from home accommodation and high quality home-made meals.
We also own and the Farmers Arms closeby in Scorton.
Please note we are a busy public house on a Friday and Saturday night and often have music till late.
Wifi is available throughout the public areas and guestrooms complimentary of charge.
January 2018 will see the main drinks bar and lounge region areas as well as the front aspect of the Hotel undergoing a complete refurbishment and transformation so we will be closing for a couple of weeks in January/February in order to undertake the works.
Conveniently situated for all local attractions and only a stones throw away from the Georgian market square and local public transport routes.
The Turf Hotel has five light and airy contemporary and tastefully decorated rooms guests are also provided with a tasty breakfast.
Our restaurant has an extensive menu and is very reasonably priced we are also not shy with our portions! For visitors wanting to tour the historic town of Richmond we are perfectly situated right in the centre of Richmond The Georgian Theatre is right next door and both the famous Norman castle and banks of the River Swale are within short walking distance.
We have two bars to relax and unwind in -offering a wide range of beers ales lagers wines spirits and soft drinks.
