For walkers Rochester makes a good starting finishing or stopping off point for walking the North Downs Way.

We have easy access to or from the M2 M20 and M25 Motorways making us a good stopping off point for travelling to/from the continent (Folkestone is just under an hour away).
We are approximately 12 minutes to walk from Rochester Station were you can catch a train to or from London Victoria Charing Cross Canterbury or Dover.
The high street has many kinds of restaurants and more public houses where you are able to be sure of finding a meal to satisfy most peoples taste.
We are within three or four minutes to walk of a number of local public houses (one of which is believed to be the oldest public house in Kent!) many of which have real ale on a hand-pump.
