Green Cottages charming 4 self catering holiday cottages are located in the heart of the Kent village of Rodmersham Green.
Old Post Cottage has 2 guestrooms and sleeps 4.
If guests request an exclusive date I will try to accommodate subject to availability.
We have several different scheduled workshops.
Workshops comprise bread making Sourdoughs etc.
We run Green Cottages kitchen region Baking and Cookery workshops in my own kitchen region (not the cottages).
We provide stair gates highchairs and a cot as standard.
For something really different you could take a Thames Barge sailing trip.
If you fancy curling up on the sofa you can surf the internet using our high speed broadband internet internet wifi watch a DVD or read one of our local interest books.
There are plenty of good village public houses to tour Leeds Castle is a short drive (15/20 mins).
You can look out of window at rural village life but in a short drive/cycle be town.
The cottages are a short drive (5/10 mins) from Sittingbourne 15 mins from the historic town of Faversham and 25 mins from the most beautiful cathedral city of Canterbury.
Both the No.1 cycle route and the North Kent Downs are about 1 mile from the cottages.
We hire out bicycles to tour the area.
Opposite the cottages is a footpath that takes you into most beautiful fruit orchards.
Rural life without being too remote pop into the village cafe for coffee or into the village public house for a drink and dinner.
We absolutely love the position of these cottages over looking the village green adjacent to the public house and a few doors from the village shop/cafe.
Full of conventional features the cottages are the ideal base for discovering Kent throughout the year.
Candy Cottage was named after the donkey that grazed on the village green.
The cottages were contructed in 1860 as farm workers cottages Old Post Cottage later became the old post office and village shop.
The cottages are most beautifully furnished throughout and have high speed Wifi.
