Lunch and evening meals can also be taken in the Bar.
Our Restaurant is on the ground floor opposite the homely local drinks bar where you are able to really enjoy a drink before and after Dinner.
We also make our own sausages black pudding and haggis so whether you choose a drinks bar meal or something from the daily blackboard you will not be disappointed.
The Queens Head is noted for its excellent home cooked meals using the very best of local and seasonal produce.
There is private parking and a patio garden with smoking shelter.

The Holy Island of LINDISFARNE is also within easy reach.

The Northumberland coastline is as magnificent as it is varied - from rugged cliffs to stretches of golden sandy beaches.
The national park is on our doorstep and an 18 hole golfing course within a short walk.
Other castles worth a visit are BAMBURGH WARKWORTH and the magnificent cliff top ruins of DUNSTANBURGH.
Northumberland has more castles and fortified houses than any other English County.
We are within 15 minutes drive of the town of ALNWICK famous for its markets Castle (of Harry Potter fame) and gardens.
November sees the Gardens lit up with magical evening walks around the lake call for details.
Cragside was the first house to be entirely lit by hydro-electric power and the gardens are the biggest rockery in the world.
