Formerly a public house the Hare and Hounds is set in idyllic landscape located just outside historic Rye (2 miles).
It makes the ideal base for discovering 1066 country Camber Sands and the surrounding areas.
We have a lovely Self Contained Shepherds Hut located in our Camping Field which is also dog congenial We can also offer somewhere to store bike if you are travelling on 2 wheels.
Our 2 rooms Oak and Willow have an inter connecting door providing ideal accommodation for a family (a Double and Twin).
We have a travel cot and high chair available for Infants.
Our B&B can accommodate children up to the age of 12 an additional guest bed can be put in the room.
We have 2 Dog congenial rooms one has direct access onto the garden.
For B and B guests a full English breakfast and Continental breakfast is served in the 17th Century Dining room and we can cater for dietary requirements if we are informed in advance.
There is also a public transport stop outside the property and a breathe taking walk over the fields into Rye (45 minute walk).
There is ample parking available and Rye is only 5 minutes away by taxi.
There is an excellent public house within a 10 minutes to walk and Rye itself has many great restaurants and cafes.
You will receive a warm and congenial welcome from the owners Harriet and Ben who can give you lots of local information on places to visit restaurants walks and local attractions.
