The Cavendish Guest House - a most beautiful Victorian property is located just of the Esplanade on the south side of Scarborough Britain s first seaside resort we are very close to where the original Spa waters were first discovered which started the resorts popularity with the Victorians.

Robert is a qualified chef and has also managed the catering for a variety of establishments as well as two of the Cambridge University Colleges he is returning to his roots as he was brought up in Scarborough Joanna has worked in customer services and recently qualified as an accountant she originally comes from Huddersfield.
Robert and Joanna have been at The Cavendish for 6 years after moving from Cambridge where they lived for the t 20 years.
Alan Ayckbourn the world famous play writer lives in Scarborough all of his plays are shown first in the equally famous Stephen Joseph Theatre which is about a 10 minute to walk from the hotel quite often these plays will then move on to Broadway.
