The Mount Somerton is a grand but congenial house set in an acre of lovely gardens yet only a three minute to walk to three public houses and the charming Georgian town centre of Somerton.
This large 200-year old home is peaceful and quiet with lots of private off-street parking complimentary internet wifi and overlooks countryside.
We absolutely love this region and we would absolutely love to host you while you too tour the charms of South Somerset.
Some of the villages around here that we recommend you visit comprise Kingsdon (great pub) Long Sutton (charming village green) Pitney (good children s playground famous Half Way House pub) Knole (lovely thatched houses ) and Muchelney (historic Abbey).
Your dining room has a sofa dining room table and chairs microwave oven and toaster and tea and coffee making facilities.
Or you can book the whole top floor which gives you a master bedroom with a king guest bed a twin room with two singles a contemporary bathroom with a fantastic separate shower and bath plus your own dining room.
And we like our guests to really enjoy peace and privacy: if you book for two people to stay in one of our rooms at The Mount you get your own en suite bathroom not a pokey en-suite.
If you want to do some outlet shopping the well known Clark s Village in Street is only 10 minutes away.
For tourists the must-see city of Bath is also just an hour away.
