The Last Post has been established in Southend since 1995 originally the city s post office.
From May 2015 we are now proud to offer 14 en suite bathroom rooms with a option of twins doubles or family guestrooms all boasting digital temperature control complimentary unlimited internet wifi and Freeview television.
Oh and you will want to try one of the world-famous Rossi ice creams on your visit too!.
The hotel is just a stone s throw from High Street and only a five-minute walk from the seafront pier and Adventure Island Park.
The town caters for all whether it s shopping on the busy high street a day out with the family at Adventure Island a night on the town in the clubs and bars or just a lazy walk along the longest pier in England.
Southend is a vibrant seaside town on the south of the Essex coastline at the edge of the Thames estuary.
Breakfast is served daily from 7am until noon and our full food menu is served until 11pm.
Complimentary tea coffee and bottled water provided in all guest rooms with iron and ironing board available on request.
There is an additional £20 charge on top of the double room rate for family guestrooms which would provide you with a sofa guest bed or Z guest bed please contact the hotel prior to booking your room to ensure there is one available for you.
However unfortunately we do not have rooms on the ground floor and there is no lift access at our hotel.
We also have interconnecting rooms for larger families.
