In April 2011 we were named complimentary House of the Year by the Publican Magazine.
In April 2009 and 2010 we were named CAMRA Kernow public house of the year.
In November 2008 the Driftwood Spars was awarded for it s public house dining experience it gained a Taste of the West Silver award for 2008 and again in 2009.
Please note rooms 10-15 are situated in the annex across the (quiet) road these do not have the very best internet wifi but are very suitable for dog owners due to the gardens.
Plenty of parking is available and there is complimentary internet wifi for guests in the main building.
All of our well equipped rooms are ensuite and some boast breathe taking views.
The name Driftwood Spars hints at its local history - the ceiling beams in the bars contain spars from some of the ships that have been wrecked in Trevaunance Cove the local beach.
The establishment is a 17th century property full of history.
Pubs and eating-places abound and the village is famous for its old public houses and nightlife.
