Situated in an region of outstanding beauty Stogumber nestles between the Quantock and Brendon Hills on the edge of Exmoor National Park.
Buzzards soar overhead whilst foxes and badgers are frequently seen.
Stogumber is surrounded by footpaths through the local landscape and only minutes away from the Quantock Hills designated an region of outstanding natural beauty and Exmoor National Parks where the landscape is rich in wildlife comprising herds or red deer and the famous Exmoor ponies.
The region is ideal for escaping the stress of the contemporary world.
Please note all guest rooms and public spaces inside Wick House are strictly non-smoking.
During the summer drinks can be taken into the garden and on the veranda.
The pretty walled garden to the rear of the house has ample seating.
There is also a smaller TV lounge.
Guests are welcome to use the comfy drawing room where you will find games plenty of books maps and local information to browse through.
All food is home cooked by Sheila using fresh local produce wherever possible.
Evening meals are served by prior arrangement.
A full English breakfast cooked in the Aga is served in the dining room over looking the delightful cottage garden.
Disabled accommodation is also available with wheelchair access from carpark to bedroom.
All our guestrooms are ensuite with TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
Children of all ages are welcome.
