The Lush family have been running The Sandhaven since 2014.
Prior to this they both worked in advertising for over 25 years in London.
No pets unfortunately due to our own pet dogs and Cats.
We have 7 carpark spaces for 9 rooms which is usually enough and there is closeby complimentary on-street parking.
The Sandhaven is also only a short drive from many of Dorsets natural attractions such as the Blue Pool Lulworth Cove Durdle Door and Old Harry s Rocks but also the Tank Museum Monkey World and the Terracotta Museum in Dorchester.
The Swanage steam railway takes you on a journey back to Victorian times and also to Corfe Castle where you are able to really enjoy a 1 000 years of history.
North of Swanage is the sandy beach of Studland and nearby Arne RSPB nature reserve( As seen on BBC Autumn and Winter Watch) which is offering a chance to walk and see a rich variety of bird and animal life.
A short walk out of town takes one to Durlston Country Park which is offering splendid views along the Purbeck Coast and from where a Seal Dolphins and Puffins can be spotted.
Swanage alone can boasts more than 1 mile of sandy beach with water perfect for bathing and many other watersports a conventional steam railway and a wealth of boutiques and small shops.
The Sandhaven itself is situated a short walk 200 yards from the beach at Swanage one of the most desirable locations in Purbeck and within very easy reach of all the attractive and historic features of Dorset.
