Family run by Darragh and Michelle we take pride in our reputation for congenial personal service and conventional Cornish hospitality whilst offering good value for money.
All rates comprise a full perfectly cooked breakfast and we have parking available for eleven cars.
If the booking is cancelled later or in the case of a no-show the first night will be charged.
There will be no cancellation charge if a booking is cancelled before 14:00 (local time) 48 hours before your date of arrival.
We regret that we will not be available for any check in after 10pm unless a prior arrangement has been made by telephone.
As we are a family managed guesthouse we are not staffed 24/7 in the same way as a hotel and so we appreciate the approximate time of your arrival.
Regretfully there is no facility to take credit/debit cards on the premises.
We are unable to provide a full-cooked breakfast during the Christmas period (24th Dec-2nd January) Any balance of payment outstanding should be made by cash or cheque on departure.

The breakfast comprises of: -tea coffee and fruit juice -cereals -yoghurts -preserves and toast.

All rooms are non-smoking.The Donnington is a 15 minute to walk to the main city centre and reasonably close to the train public transport station.
Most rooms have fridges and iron ironing board hairdryer and microwave oven can be provided on request.
They also have tea and coffee making facilities and a flat screen television with Free-view and DVD player.
All rooms have en suite bathroom facilities or private bathroom.
The Donnington can accommodate up to 28 guests in 14 rooms across two elegant Victorian houses and is offering lovely views over the Cathedral and surrounding countryside.
