It is steeped in literacy and world wide history which will be recognised by many.
We have local knowledge from many years on the island and depending on your interests we can point you in the direction of dinosaurs or dungeons!.
Lisle Combe is an perfect base for discovering the Isle of Wight with Osbourne House and Carisbrooke Castle only 30 minutes drive and fabulous beaches all around.
It has a vibrant cultural feel with the Arts Club and Fringe festival.
Ventnor is a 5 minute drive away within a short walking distance with many good eating and antique stops.
Breakfast is a congenial affair with lots of local produce and option on offer just order the night before or that morning if you don t mind the wait! It can be communal on our large refectory table or if you have a preferance privacy on a table for two in the Drawing room or if warm outside on the veranda just for fun! We are situated in the warm sub tropical climate of St Lawrence on the south side of the island only a short walking distance from both the tranquil Steephill Cove and well known Ventnor Botanic Gardens.
The rooms are spacious and comfy with additional seating for those times when you want to just sit and look out the window at the ocean or garden view.
We have breathe taking Neal s Yard Remedy toiletries in the en suite bathrooms with soft towels for our guests to use.
All our rooms have tea and coffee making facilities television with DVD hair dryer and separate wash basin.

We have two guest bed and breakfast rooms which can be used in a number of combinations from single occupancy to doubles or twin guest beds with added guest beds for families too.
