This unique property one of the oldest in town has been a public house for nearly two centuries.

Room 2 can be arranged as a double twin or a triple and is ideal for families or groups.
Please note that it is situated on the top floor away from the hustle and bustle of the public house below but it does have two flights of stairs so may be unsuitable for small children and the elderly.
Room 1 is an executive sized double with an large bathroom.
Dogs with well behaved owners are welcome here at the CAT although we do charge an additional £10 to cover the cost of cleaning.
We do not provide breakfast but there are a number of options locally all within walking distance.
Rates start at just £80 (including VAT) on a room-only basis.
It is situated reasonably close to the centre of town just 300 metres from the River Thames Pathway.
