The Chimes is a detached family home set in most beautiful gardens in a woodland setting at the edge of the village of Wansford.
We are handily situated for road rail and air links with Stamford 7 miles to the North Peterborough 6 miles to the East and Stansted East Midlands and Birmingham airports all within 90 minutes drive.
There is ample complimentary parking and complimentary wireless internet available.
Our sausages bacon and eggs come from Willow Brook Farm which is just 4 miles away.
We offer an outstanding Aga perfectly cooked breakfast using homemade locally sourced and free-trade ingredients whenever possible.
Guests will be welcomed on arrival with a cup of tea or coffee and homemade cakes or scones with home made jams which they are welcome to really enjoy in the garden if the weather allows.
The Woodland Room also has a large contructed in desk and makes a ideal space for work if you are travelling on business.
The Woodland and Garden rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and a flat screen TV.
A third double bedroom is available for guests who also book the Garden Room as it shares the en suite bathroom which is just along the landing.
We have two guest guestrooms one with a king size guest bed and en suite bathroom next door (The Garden Room) the other with a double guest bed and en suite bathroom bathroom (The Woodland Room).
Guests can relax in a private sitting room with gas fire and large screen television and there is a separate dining room in which to really enjoy breakfast.
