Glencree is a most beautiful Lakeland stone licensed guest house perfectly located midway between the villages of Bowness and Windermere both busy villages with lots of bars and restaurants.
Offering excellent guest bed and breakfast facilities all year round.
No arrivals between 1 pm-3 pm unless by prior arrangement and our last arrival is 9 pm.
We offer guest bed and Breakfast only.
There are no facilities for cooking at Glencree and hot food/take-away meals are not permitted at Glencree.
Come and see for yourselves! Two rooms comprising the family or twin room are up a small spiral staircase so not suitable for the elderly or for guests with luggage they cannot manage to carry.
Being a family-run concern we are able to offer a personal service to make sure that your visit with us is as comfy and enjoyable as possible.
And for those exceptional occasions champagne and flowers can be requested prior to your arrival.
Vegetarian meals can be arranged and any exceptional dietary needs may be catered for.
Delicious conventional English breakfasts are prepared from high high quality local produce.
For sport enthusiasts this is the home of water sports pony trekking hot air ballooning to name but a few and we shall be more than happy to arrange any activities for you.
The Windermere Golf Club is just a few miles away and there is an abundance of museums country houses gardens lakes fells walks and landscape to explore.
