This traditionally contructed Lakeland-stone house sits in its own gardens the ambience is relaxed and tranquil.

Walk throughout Bowness to the lakeshore where you will find the pier that takes the lake cruises from Bowness to Ambleside or Lakeside where you are able to really enjoy the Aquarium of the lake or journey a little further on one of the steam trains on the Haverthwaite and lakeside railway.
An easy walk down into Bowness and there is the home to the world of Beatrix Potter.From the doorstep there are many walks without the need to use a car.Windermere is the central location for tourism in the Lake District and Glenville House is ideally located a couple of minutes to walk from the main village with its excellent shops fine restaurants and bistros.
