We are passionate about our most beautiful historic city and really enjoy helping guests get the most out of their stay.
Feversham Lodge is situated near one of the famous chocolate factories and if the wind is blowing in the right direction you will wake up to an amazing smell of cocoa! Six reasons why you should choose Feversham Lodge: we are just a short walk from the main city centre we are probably the closest guest house to the centre with complimentary off-road parking we don t cut corners and pay attention to detail: in the bathroom we always provide high quality toiletries fluffy towels and good loo paper in the bedroom we have comfy mattresses good guest bed linen good duvets and pillows the refreshment tray has a range of beverages biscuits and flapjack or brownies for breakfast we use high high quality ingredients and the very best produce available which is local and farm produced where possible we are flexible we will try to accommodate your exceptional needs and wishes for example: different breakfast times early arrivals/late departures provision for exceptional occasions you may use our carpark from 10.30am on the day of arrival and until 2pm on the day of departure and finally we are nice of course we think so and we hope you do too! Each of our five ensuite rooms is themed four are decorated with pictures and artefacts we have collected around the world and one is decorated in a conventional Victorian style.
Therefore we regret that we do not take young children but we welcome those over the age of 16.
Most of our guests come for a quiet few days or weekend away and some are parents getting away from it all.
We welcome visitors to the universities and also those on business.
We really enjoy real ale and can recommend some breathe taking public houses to ale enthusiasts.
Indeed we will be delighted to show cyclists some of the very best routes in the vicinity.
We are keen leisure cyclists and welcome guests on two wheels.
