The Arisaig Hotel sits on the edge of the sheltered Loch nan Ceall in the small village of Arisaig on the west coast of the Scottish Highlands.The Hotel is an old coaching inn contructed in around 1720.p There is complimentary off road parking a laundry service and internet wifi is available complimentary of charge throughout the hotel.p The hotel is located handily for all local facilities such as the General Store Marina Post Office Cafe Restaurant and the Land ocean and Island Centre.p Key sporting features are shown on the television in the Crofters Bar.
Friday night is usually music night in the Crofter s drinks bar so bring an instrument if you have one and join in.p Look out to see if we have any exceptional nights on curry night tapas night music night etc.
Younger children will be happily occupied for an hour or so in the Playroom.p Children are welcome in all areas.p After dinner you can join the fun in the Crofter s drinks bar or relax in the Drawing Room.
Our chefs prepare all the food on site using fresh local produce where possible and create some real treats! Dinner can be taken in either of the Bars or in the Dining Room.p Lunches and dinners teas and coffees with home baking are served daily to residents and non-residents.
If it s cold you can curl up in front of the fire in the Drawing Room.
If it s sunny you can soak up the rays and admire the views from the deck.
Our mouth-watering and good value meals can be taken in the Crofter s drinks bar the lounge region drinks bar or in summer in the Dining Room depending how you feel.p In the evening after watching the sun go down over the ocean you can come back and relax and pick up some local knowledge in the hotel bar.p There is plenty to do locally to keep you occupied for a week or two with lots of great walks a nine hole golfing course ocean kayaking and bike hire available at the hotel a variety of boat trips available from Arisaig Mallaig and Glenfinnan and a guest swimming pool and gymnasium closeby in Mallaig just to mention a few.
