A Great public house and a most beautiful Hotel The Sun Inn is a most beautiful old coaching inn that lies reasonably close to the banks of the River Esk in five acres of most beautiful wooded grounds.
Our historic property has been recently renovated to give it a stylish contemporary feel while retaining its true charm and character.
Led by father and son team Ian and Craig Minto everyone at the Inn is dedicated to providing the very best service and the warmest of welcomes.
We paid equal care to each of our five guest rooms which have been renovated with a real eye for style and comfort.
No detail was overlooked from the massive beam over the drinks bar to the most beautiful feature wallpapers that bring the main dining region to life - we made sure that every detail of the Inn was just right.
Starting with a clear vision of what we wanted the inn to look like we stripped the walls back to the original stone renovated the old fireplace and laid a impressive new wooden floor.
We work on the principle that our guests deserve the very best and continually ask ourselves what would we expect We then try and exceed our own expectations! The refurbishment of the Inn which was completed in 2008 was a true labour of love.
