Kilmichael House in Drumnadrochit (Near LOCH NESS) is a lovely Victorian House set back from the road standing alone in its own grounds surrounded by giant Redwood Sequoia trees.
In days gone by the house was the home of the village doctor and his surgery was in a shed to the rear of the property (still standing today).

Kilmichael House is the perfect base to really enjoy the many activities available in the region - ranging from boat trips on the most beautiful mysterious LOCH NESS horse riding walking cycling as well as the must sees - military museum at Fort George Culloden Battlefield pre-historic Clava Cairns fairy tale Brodie Castle impressive landscape with magnificent scenery - the list just goes on and on.
They run a popular beer festival annually.
If real ales are your tipple then the Benleva is the place to be (also popular with the locals).
A little further away is the Loch Ness Inn where once again good food and congenial hotel staff are waiting to look after you.
The selections will vary/reduce in the off season months For wallkers and cyclists we are about 500 metres from the Great Glen Way .For all our visitors the centre of the village is no more than half a mile away and you can really enjoy conventional bill of fayre from Scotland s larder in the warm congenial surroundings of Fiddlers Restaurant and award winning Malt Whisky drinks bar (over 600 to choose from - you could be there a while!).

All the guestrooms are bright and tastefully furnished and equipped with beverage trays nespresso coffee machines hairdryers flat screen complimentary sat TV/DVD/RADIO (small choice of DVD s are available for guests) and complimentary internet wifi internet access in public areas.
Our rooms are made up of double guest beds or superkings as described in room type booked (we do not accommodate additional guest beds or cots) three are en suite bathroom whilst the fourth (small double) has its own separate bathroom.
All four guestrooms are situated on the first floor and either have garden views or views across open fields to the hills beyond.
We are also an acult only property and do not accommodate Children/babies.
